FAYA Design is an independent surface pattern studio creating bold, eclectic prints inspired by African landscapes, flora, fauna and visual culture. Embracing contrast, tension and unexpected combinations, the studio creates patterns designed to stand alone or clash beautifully together — expressive, layered and rich with movement and colour. Drawing from painterly mark-making, hand drawn illustrations, indigenous botanicals and abstracted natural forms, FAYA Design celebrates individuality, visual abundance and the energy of things that should not work together — but somehow do.
